Oden’s Cold Original Snus Review

I have always loved Oden’s offerings. They never disappoint, and they provide an attractive price point for those of us who consume more snus than they should on a daily basis. Oden’s Cold is a box standard mint with sharp clean taste; no hint of spearmint just an arctic cold. As with all cold portions, I find that even though it’s of average nicotine strength, it does “feel” stronger due to the burn effect that mint flavor tends to have.

 

No issues with the texture of the portion. Very comfortable for prolonged periods of time, and the drip is relatively mild. I say that mostly because a mint drip is for me not disagreeable compared to Thunders RAW Frosted portions, which I found needed to be washed down with a drink. I am not sure if this is due to the milder dose of nicotine or if Thunder’s recipe drastically affects the taste of the snus. Either way, I will review the Extra Strong Oden’s Cold and report back. If I had to guess, I would say that nicotine levels play a large part with regards to drip taste.

 

Conclusion: I love sharp mint snus and with its Cold line, I think Oden’s has hit a home run. If the Extra Strong version provides the same flavor with a harder nicotine hit, I think it may replace Thunder’s Frosted with the Oden’s Extreme Cold as my daily mint fix.
